Story Summary
In war-torn Warsaw Grandpa Feliks barters for a carp for Christmas dinner. Unfortunately Feliks' five-year-old granddaughter, Lucja, falls in love with the carp swimming so peacefully in the bathtub. Now Feliks must break her heart and butcher the carp or go without his dreamed-of Christmas dinner.
