Captain Tory

Every morning Captain Tory ate a cinnamon doughnut at the doughnut shop on Church Street, then walked past Paul's mother's hardware store where Paul would wave a cheerful good morning. But Captain Tory was a ghost and everyone knew it, so it seemed a little odd when he stopped at the hardware one morning to ask for some kerosene. Well, even ghosts change their routine and soon Captain Tory abandoned ship and made himself useful around the store while bringing companionship to Paul and his mother.
