Cornet at Night

Young Tommy Dickson is pulled between his mother who wants him to take music lessons and get and education and his father who wants him to be a farmer. When he is sent to town to find a man to help with the harvest, he brings home a young cornet player whose never done a lick of farm work in his life. Not unexpectedly he is a failure as a farm hand, but Tommy will remember the sound of his cornet at night forever.
