Story Summary

After an offhanded remark from the stable boy suggesting that the King may be at fault in getting singed by the dragon, the King suggest that he, Farinor, tame the dragon since he knows so much. After much thought, Farinor comes up with a clever plan which involves making Dragon Treat, but with the aid of the dragon.
