Story Summary
Rory was half Cree but until his father left and his mom met Paul, also a Cree, Rory new nothing of his native traditions. With Paul's encouragement and lessons, his uncle's regalia and beautiful handmade moccasins from his mom, Rory entered the Junior Boys Fancy Dance contest at the Dance for Mother Earth Powwow.
