Story Summary
During World War II, two young war refugees from Austria arrive at a school in Idaho. Most everyone treats them like the enemy until a dress rehearsal for the Christmas pageant when their Stille Nacht rings out harmoniously over the other kids' Silent Night. For the first time everyone realizes they are not the enemy, just two frightened girls a long way from home.
