The Checker Playing Hound Dog

All the kids in town admire old Cowboy Slim. When two of them have a contest to see whose dog is the smartest, they go to Cowboy Slim to be the final judge, but there's Slim playing checkers with his hound dog! Seeing their amazement, Slim suggests his dog ain't as smart as he seems, after all Slim beat him three out of five times.
