The Children of Winter

Each year, at first snowfall, neighborhood children would make snow children which, rumor held, would turn into real children and help old Mrs. Hobbleberry repair her house. But each year the neighborhood children would also help Mrs. Hobbleberry get ready for their arrival. Strange to tell, no one ever remembered if the children of winter ever really came.
