Story Summary
Jabez Stone wasn't a bad man, just an unlucky one. One day, tired of being down on his luck he makes a deal with the devil. After his five year of good luck when the Devil comes to collect his due, the Devil finds that Jabez Stone has hired Daniel Webster, the best lawyer in the country to argue his case.
