Story Summary
In 1814, at the time of the last Frost Fair on the Thames, a servant girl sneaks out to experience the fair. Later, when a chance companion she met at the fair, is accused of murder, she must come forward as the only witness to prove that he was at the fair and couldn't have committed the murder.
