Story Summary
On the way home from viewing a rare hummingbird in eastern Canada, Michel's father mysteriously turns at a sign to Ompah. Where the road dead-ends at a broken down shack, Michel is confronted by a cantankerous, wicked old man. His grandfather? No wonder his father fled at thirteen. But the more important question is what he carried with him.
