The Little Swineherd

When Edward the young swineherd is abandoned by his foster parents, he is befriended by a gentle stranger who helps him improve both the cottage and his life. Some years later when his foster parents return, they are as selfish and mean as ever, leading Edward and the old man to journey west in search of adventure.
