The Paper Garden

In the middle of an emperor's garden was a lake, as smooth as glass. To prevent the wind and rain from rippling his lake, the Emperor built a wall around the garden and a roof above the garden but the only thing he accomplished was killing the flowers, especially the very rare kushiri flowers, whose leaves rustled like paper kites.
