Story Summary
A fanciful story of a beautiful young weaver in the Persian city of Isfahan who is enslaved by the shah for her skill as a weaver. A bad situation turns worse when she hears that the shah wishes to marry her. From her rooftop studio she weaves a carpet so light that the wind picks it up with her upon it and carries her to freedom.
