Story Summary
Against her parent's wishes, a king's third daughter marries and ugly, poor man whose heart is rich with kindness and whose soul is beautiful in its purity. But it is this husband, not the handsome husbands of the king's older daughters, whose kindness and wisdom allows him to make a perilous journey to retrieve the wonderful healing leaves that will cure the king's blindness.
