Story Summary
Ryokan gives the impression of being a poor beggar but feels himself rich beyond words because of the beauty that surrounds him. When a thief is disgusted by the disrepair of Ryokan?s belongings, Ryokan is saddened that the thief couldn?t see the beauty of the moon.
