Tom and His Coffee-Colored Horse

Tom's father walked in frowning. Tom had forgotten to feed his horse again. "It's more than just responsibility, Tom. If you take care of your horse, he'll take care of you." Tom's father's wisdom is soon put to the test when the half-full school bus skids off the road during a blizzard near Tom's road. Tom can just make out Coffee standing on the other side of the fence ready to take Tom to safety and get help for the other children.
