Variation on a Theme: The Grateful Dead

A Countess who had led a life of excess bet the Devil that if he put her body anywhere on Earth, that she could count on the kindness of a stranger to bury her before dawn. After two stop to rob her, a drummer coming home from war stops and buries her. The Devil doesn't mind the loss of her soul since he now has a good shot at the souls of the two who robbed her.
