Rider Chan and the Night River

When news of the California gold rush reaches China, two brothers, one industrious and one lazy, decide to immigrate. The industrious brother becomes famous as Rider Chan for his courage and strength in delivering mail and medicines while the other brother disappears into gold country. Rider Chan hears of his brother only once more when he is trapped by the spirit of his brother's murderer. As a last act of repentance the spirit tells Chan where their gold is hidden so that he may send it home to his mother.
