A Mare Called Lucky

Turns out that Jessie's new mare, Lucky, is blind. Jessie's dad figures they'll have to sell Lucky for horse meat. But Jessie, unable to bare the thought, suggests keeping Lucky to have foals. Reluctantly Jessie's dad agrees and Lucky lives up to her name. Not only is she watched over by the farms other two horses but she produces a perfectly healthy, sighted foal the following spring.
