Story Summary
A nice recounting based on a true incident in the life of Isabella Bird during her stay in Hawaii. During a trip on horseback from Hilo to Waipio Valley, Ms Bird and her companion find that the rivers are too high to cross but for the fortitude of Isabella's mare, Bessie Twinker.
