Catbird

Young Pete, wheelchair bound and suffering from a kidney disease, seems to live in his own world and little his parents do draw him out. That is until Doc, Pete's Dad's old hunting partner, shows up with one of the progeny of his Dad's favorite hunting dog drawing Pete out of his distant world and back to the family that loves him.
