Story Summary

When Grandmother White Hair is near death her last wish is to be beautiful once again, just for a short while. The Great Spirit of the desert rewards her unselfish love in saving her daughter by turning her into the flower the Papagoes call the Fragrance of Ghosts, which blooms only once a year but is the most beautiful flower in the desert.
