Story Summary
Master Chao's pupil, Ling, was so talented that her paintings seemed alive. When the emperor heard of such talent he summoned Ling to his palace to paint 1000 dragons around the walls for protection. But the dragons' dedication was to their creator, not the cruel emperor.
