Story Summary
Every year Mrs. Nightingale, the Woodlawn's neighbor, has made a new Christmas outfit for her childhood doll. When her father takes sick just before Christmas she is too distracted to make a new set of cloths, so the Woodlawn children decide they will make the doll's costume as a Christmas surprise.
