Story Summary
Katie Kyle was the bravest, most fantastic canal-boat captain ever to navigate the Miami-Erie Canal. But when her horse through his shoes she needed a blacksmith. The closest was Anvil Annie but she had a line of customers clear into the next county. So Katie proposed a contest and with both trying to best the other they took care of everyone in no time.
