The Secret Among the Stones

Bored with a field trip to Mesa Verde, Caro detours away from the group and discovers the skeleton of a young girl in the deep recesses of a cave where she must have become trapped and starved to death. Realizing the importance of her find, she notifies her teacher. Caro, however, only hopes that in some small way she has helped her tragic skeletal companion to finally be laid to rest.
