The Shield of the Wolf

After Rowena nurses the wolf's wounded paw, the wolf becomes her constant companion and protector. Ostracized by the town folk who call her the daughter of a witch, Rowena gives in to the wolf's gentle pleading and follows him deep into the forest where she is reunited with her long lost brother, now leader of the wolf pack and discovers her own heritage as a shape-shifter.
