Story Summary

Carrie thinks the quilt her grandma is making is the ugliest quilt she has ever seen. But she sees the beauty in it when she accompanies her gran to an alley where here gran wraps the quilt around a homeless women. Later that night Carrie sees a quilt neatly folded in her grandma's Hummel cabinet and learns that it is the quilt that someone wrapper around her grandma when she was asleep in the very same alley many years before.
